Καὶ ἐγένετο ὡς ἤκουσε πᾶς Ἰσραὴλ ὅτι ἀνέκαμψεν Ἱεροβοὰμ ἐξ Αἰγύπτου, καὶ ἀπέστειλαν καὶ ἐκάλεσαν αὐτὸν εἰς τὴν συναγωγὴν, καὶ ἐβασίλευσαν αὐτὸν ἐπὶ Ἰσραήλ· καὶ οὐκ ἦν ὀπίσω οἴκου Δαυὶδ πάρεξ σκήπτρου Ἰούδα καὶ Βενιαμὶν μόνοι.

And it happened that when all Israel heard that Jeroboam had returned from Egypt, they sent and called him to the congregation, and they made him king over Israel, and there was none following the house of David except the tribe of Judah and Benjamin alone.
