Καὶ ἰδοὺ μετὰ σοῦ Σεμεῒ υἱὸς Γηρὰ υἱὸς τοῦ Ἰεμινὶ ἐκ Βαουρὶμ, καὶ αὐτὸς κατηράσατό με κατάραν ὀδυνηρὰν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ᾗ ἐπορευόμην εἰς παρεμβολάς· καὶ αὐτὸς κατέβη εἰς ἀπαντήν μου εἰς τὸν Ἰορδάνην, καὶ ὤμοσα αὐτῷ ἐν Κυρίῳ, λέγων, εἰ θανατώσω σε ἐν ῥομφαίᾳ.

And behold, with you is Shimei son of Gera, son of the Benjamite, from Bahurim, and he cursed me with a grievous curse on the day when I was going to the camps, and he came down to meet me at the Jordan, and I swore to him by the Lord, saying, I will not put you to death by the sword.
