Καὶ ἐροῦσιν, ἀνθʼ ὧν ἐγκατέλιπον Κύριον Θεὸν αὐτῶν, ὃς ἐξήγαγε τοὺς πατέρας αὐτῶν ἐξ Αἰγύπτου, ἐξ οἴκου δουλείας, καὶ ἀντελάβοντο θεῶν ἀλλοτρίων καὶ προσεκύνησαν αὐτοῖς καὶ ἐδούλευσαν αὐτοῖς, διὰ τοῦτο ἐπήγαγε Κύριος ἐπʼ αὐτοὺς τὴν κακίαν ταύτην.

And they will say, Because they abandoned the Lord their God, who led their fathers out of Egypt, out of the house of slavery, and they took hold of foreign gods and worshiped them and served them, because of this the Lord brought upon them this wickedness.
