Καὶ ἐζήτησεν Τρύφων βασιλεῦσαι τῆς Ἀσίας καὶ περιθέσθαι τὸ διάδημα καὶ ἐκτεῖναι χεῖρας ἐπὶ Ἀντίοχον τὸν βασιλέα.

And Tryphon sought to reign over Asia and to put on the diadem and to stretch out his hands against Antiochus the king.
