Καὶ ἤκουσεν Σίμων ὅτι συνήγαγεν Τρύφων δύναμιν πολλὴν τοῦ ἐλθεῖν εἰς γῆν Ἰούδα τοῦ ἐκτρίψαι αὐτὴν.

And Simon heard that Tryphon had gathered a great force to come into the land of Judah to destroy it.
