ὡς δὲ ἴδαν τὴν παρεμβολὴν ἐρχομένην εἰς συνἀντησιν αὐτῷ, εἶπαν τῷ Ἰούδᾳ Τί δυνησόμεθα ὀλιγοστοὶ ὄντες πολεμῆσαι πρὸς πλῆθος τοσοῦτο; καὶ ἡμεῖς ἐκλελύμεθα ἀσιτοῦντες σήμερον.
