Καὶ λέγουσιν αὐτῷ οἱ ἄνδρες Ἰαβίς, ἄνες ἡμῖν ἑπτὰ ἡμέρας καὶ ἀποστελοῦμεν ἀγγέλους εἰς πᾶν ὅριον Ἰσραήλ· ἐὰν μὴ ᾖ ὁ σώζων ἡμᾶς, ἐξελευσόμεθα πρὸς ὑμᾶς.

And the men of Jabesh say to him, Give us seven days and we will send messengers into every border of Israel. If there is no one saving us, we will come out to you.
