Καὶ ἐβόησαν πρὸς Κύριον, καὶ ἔλεγον, ἡμάρτομεν, ὅτι ἐγκατελίπομεν τὸν Κύριον, καὶ ἐδουλεύσαμεν τοῖς Βααλὶμ καὶ τοῖς ἄλσεσι· καὶ νῦν ἐξελοῦ ἡμᾶς ἐκ χειρὸς ἐχθρῶν ἡμῶν, καὶ δουλεύσομέν σοι.

And they cried out to the Lord, and they were saying, We have sinned, because we have forsaken the Lord, and we served the Baals and the groves, and now deliver us out of the hand of our enemies, and we will serve you.
