Καὶ εἶπε Σαούλ, ἐξ ʼΑμαλὴκ ἤνεγκα αὐτά, ἃ περιεποιήσατο ὁ λαός, τὰ κράτιστα τοῦ ποιμνίου, καὶ τῶν βοῶν, ὅπως τυθῇ Κυρίῳ τῷ Θεῷ σου, καὶ τὰ λοιπὰ ἐξωλόθρευσα.

And Saul said, I brought them from Amalek, which the people spared, the best of the flock and of the oxen, so that they might be sacrificed to the Lord your God, and the remaining I utterly destroyed.
