Καὶ Ἰωνάθαν ὁ υἱὸς Σαοὺλ ἡρεῖτο τὸν Δαυὶδ σφόδρα· καὶ ἀπήγγειλεν Ἰωνάθαν τῷ Δαυὶδ, λέγων, Σαοὺλ ζητεῖ θανατῶσαί σε· φύλαξαι οὖν αὔριον πρωῒ, καὶ κρύβηθι καὶ κάθισον κρυδῇ·
