Καὶ ἔλαβεν Σαμουὴλ λίθον ἕνα, καὶ ἔστησεν αὐτὸν ἀναμέσον Μασσηφὰθ καὶ ἀναμέσον τῆς παλαιᾶς· καὶ ἐκάλεσε τὸ ὄνομα αὐτοῦ ʼΑβενέζερ, λίθος τοῦ βοηθοῦ· καὶ εἶπεν, ἕως ἐνταῦθα ἐβοήθησεν ἡμῖν Κύριος.

And Samuel took one stone and set it up between Mizpah and the old place, and called its name Ebenezer, stone of the helper, and said, Until here the Lord has helped us.
