Καὶ συνέκοψεν ὁ βασιλεὺς Ἄχαζ τὰ συνκλείσματα τῶν μεχωνὼθ, καὶ μετῇρεν ἀπʼ αὐτῶν τὸν λουτῆρα, καὶ τὴν θάλασσαν καθεῖλεν ἀπὸ τῶν βοῶν τῶν χαλκῶν τῶν ὑποκάτω αὐτῆς, καὶ ἔδωκεν αὐτὴν ἐπὶ βάσιν λιθίνην.
