Καὶ εἶπαν τῷ βασιλεῖ Ἀσσυρίων λέγοντες, τὰ ἔθνη ἃ ἀπῴκισας καὶ ἀντεκάθισας ἐν πόλεσι Σαμαρείας οὐκ ἔγνωσαν τὸ κρίμα τοῦ Θεοῦ τῆς γῆς, καὶ ἀπέστειλεν εἰς αὐτοὺς τοὺς λέοντας, καὶ ἰδού εἰσι θανατοῦντες αὐτοὺς, καθότι οὐκ οἴδασι τὸ κρίμα τοῦ Θεοῦ τῆς γῆς.

And they said to the king of Assyrians, saying, The nations which you exiled and resettled in the cities of Samaria did not know the judgment of the God of the earth, and he sent the lions against them, and behold, they are killing them, because they do not know the judgment of the God of the earth.
