Καὶ ἐπέστρεψε καὶ ᾠκοδόμησε τὰ ὑψηλὰ ἃ κατέσπασεν Ἑζεκίας ὁ πατὴρ αὐτοῦ, καὶ ἀνέστησε θυσιαστήριον τῇ Βάαλ, καὶ ἐποίησε τὰ ἄλση καθὼς ἐποίησεν Ἀχαὰβ βασιλεὺς Ἰσραήλ, καὶ προσεκύνησε πάσῃ τῇ δυνάμει τοῦ οὐρανοῦ, καὶ ἐδούλευσεν αὐτοῖς.
