Καὶ εἶπεν Ἀβεσσαλὼμ πρὸς τοὺς παῖδας αὐτοῦ, ἴδετε, ἡ μερὶς ἐν ἀγρῷ τοῦ Ἰωὰβ ἐχόμενά μου, καὶ αὐτῷ ἐκεῖ κριθαὶ, πορεύεσθε καὶ ἐμπρήσατε αὐτὴν ἐν πυρί· καὶ ἐνέπρησαν οἱ παῖδες Ἀβεσσαλὼμ τὴν μερίδα· καὶ παραγίνονται οἱ δοῦλοι Ἰωὰβ πρὸς αὐτὸν διεῤῥηχότες τὰ ἱμάτια αὐτῶν, καὶ εἶπον, ἐνεπύρισαν οἱ δοῦλοι Ἀβεσσαλὼμ τὴν μερίδα ἐν πυρί.

And Absalom said to his servants, See, the portion in the field of Joab adjoining mine, and he has barley there; go and set it on fire. And the servants of Absalom burned the portion, and the slaves of Joab came to him having torn their garments and said, The slaves of Absalom burned the portion in fire.
