Καὶ Ἀβεσσαλὼμ ἔτι ζῶν ἔλαβε καὶ ἔστησεν ἑαυτῷ τὴν στήλην ἐν ᾗ ἐλήφθη, καὶ ἐστήλωσεν αὐτὴν λαβεῖν τὴν στήλην τὴν ἐν τῇ βασιλέως, ὅτι εἶπεν, ὅτι οὐκ ἔστιν αὐτῷ υἱὸς ἕνεκν τοῦ ἀναμνῆσαι τὸ ὄνομα αὐτοῦ· καὶ ἐκάλεσε τὴν στήλην, Χεὶρ Ἀβεσσαλὼμ, ἕως τῆς ἡμέρας ταύτης.

And Absalom, while still living, took and set up for himself the pillar in which he was taken, and erected it to take the pillar in the king's valley, because he said that he had no son to remember his name, and he called the pillar the Hand of Absalom, until this day.
