Καὶ ἐπέστρεψε τὸν Ἀβεννὴρ εἰς Χεβρὼν, καὶ ἐξέκλινεν αὐτὸν Ἰωὰβ ἐκ πλαγίων τῆς πύλης λαλῆσαι πρὸς αὐτὸν, ἐνεδρεύων· καὶ ἐπάταξεν αὐτὸν ἐκεῖ εἰς τὴν ψόαν, καὶ ἀπέθανεν ἐν τῷ αἵματι Ἀσαὴλ τοῦ ἀδελφοῦ Ἰωάβ.
