ἐξάπινα ἐρημώσει πόλιν, καὶ ποιήσει ὅσα οὐκ ἐποίησαν οἱ πατέρες αὐτοῦ οὐδὲ οἱ πατέρες τῶν πατέρων αὐτοῦ· προνομὴν καὶ σκῦλα καὶ χρήματα αὐτοῖς δώσει, καὶ ἐπὶ τὴν πόλιν τὴν ἰσχυρὰν διανοηθήσεται, καὶ οἱ λογισμοὶ αὐτοῦ εἰς μάτην.

Suddenly he will lay waste a city, and will do as much as his fathers did not do nor the fathers of his fathers, he will give plunder and spoils and money to them, and against the strong city he will devise plans, and his thoughts will come to nothing.
