ὑπέρ πάντας ἔχων ἐξουσίαν ἐν τῇ βασιλείᾳ. καὶ Δανιὴλ ἦν ἐνδεδυμένος πορφύραν καὶ μέγας καὶ ἔνδοξος ἔναντι Δαρείου τοῦ βασιλέως, καθότι ἦν ἔνδοξος καὶ ἐπιστήμων καὶ συνετός, καὶ πνεῦμα ἅγιον ἐν αὐτῷ, καὶ εὐοδοὺμενος ἐν ταῖς πραγματείαις τοῦ βασιλέως αἷς ἔπρασσε. τότε ὁ βασιλεὺς ἐβουλεύσατο καταστῆσαι τὸν Δανιὴλ ἐπὶ πάσης τῆς βασιλείας αὐτοῦ καὶ τοὺς δύο ἄνδρας, οὓς κατέστησε μετʼ αὐτοῦ, καὶ σατράπας ἑκατὸν εἴκοσι ἑπτά.

Having authority over all in the kingdom, Daniel was clothed in purple and was great and glorious before King Darius, because he was glorious and knowledgeable and wise, and a holy spirit was in him, and he was prospering in the king's occupations which he did. Then the king planned to establish Daniel over all his kingdom, and the two men whom he appointed with him, and one hundred twenty-seven satraps.
