Καὶ μνησθήσῃ ὅτι οἰκέτης ἦσθα ἐν γῇ Αἰγύπτῳ, καὶ ἐξήγαγέ σε Κύριος ὁ Θεός σου ἐκεῖθεν ἐν χειρὶ κραταιᾷ, καὶ ἐν βραχίονι ὑψηλῷ· διὰ τοῦτο συνέταξέ σοι Κύριος ὁ Θεός σου ὥστε φυλάσσεσθαι τὴν ἡμέραν τῶν σαββάτων καὶ ἁγιάζειν αὐτήν.

And you shall remember that you were a servant in the land of Egypt, and the Lord your God led you out from there with a mighty hand and with a high arm; through this the Lord your God commanded you to keep the day of the sabbaths and to sanctify it.
