Ἐσκλήρυνε δὲ Κύριος τὴν καρδίαν Φαραὼ, καὶ οὐκ ἐβουλήθη ἐξαποστεῖλαι αὐτούς.

But the Lord hardened the heart of Pharaoh, and he did not wish to send them away.
