Καὶ πρωτότοκον ὑποζυγίου λυτρώσῃ προβάτῳ· ἐὰν δὲ μὴ λυτρώσῃ αὐτὸ, τιμὴν δώσεις. πᾶν πρωτότοκον τῶν υἱῶν σου λυτρώσῃ· οὐκ ὀφθήσῃ ἐνώπιόν μου κενός.

And the firstborn of a beast of burden you shall redeem with a sheep, but if you shall not redeem it, you will give its value. Every firstborn of your sons you shall redeem. You shall not appear before me empty.
