Καὶ ἐγένετο ὡς ἤκουσε Σαναβαλλὰτ καὶ Τωβία καὶ οἱ Ἄραβες καὶ οἱ Ἀμμανίται, ὅτι ἀνέβη ἡ φυὴ τοῖς τείχεσιν Ἱερουσαλὴμ, ὅτι ἤρξαντο αἱ διασφαγαὶ ἀναφράσσεσθαι, καὶ πονηρὸν αὐτοῖς ἐφάνη σφόδρα.
