Καὶ ἐπάρας Λὼτ τοὺς ὀφθαλμοὺς αὐτοῦ, ἐπεῖδε πᾶσαν τὴν περίχωρον τοῦ Ἰορδάνου, ὅτι πᾶσα ἦν ποτιζομένη, πρὸ τοῦ καταστρέψαι τὸν Θεὸν Σόδομα καὶ Γόμοῤῥα, ὡς ὁ παράδεισος τοῦ Θεοῦ, καὶ ὡς ἡ γῆ Αἰγύπτου, ἕως ἐλθεῖν εἰς Ζόγορα.

And Lot, having lifted his eyes, observed all the surrounding region of the Jordan, that it was all well watered before God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, like the paradise of God and like the land of Egypt, until one comes to Zoar.
