Οἱ ἄνθρωποι οὗτοι εἰρήνικοί εἰσι, μεθ ἡμῶν οἰκείτωσαν επὶ τῆς γῆς, καὶ ἐμπορευέσθωσαν αὐτήν· ἡ δὲ γῆ ἰδοὺ πλατεῖα ἐναντίον αὐτῶν· τὰς θυγατέρας αὐτῶν ληψόμεθα ἡμῖν γυναῖκας, καὶ τὰς θυγατέρας ἡμῶν δώσομεν αὐτοῖς.

These people are peaceful; let them dwell with us upon the earth and let them trade in it. Behold, the land is broad before them. We will take their daughters as wives for ourselves, and we will give our daughters to them.
