Καὶ νῦν προσέθεντο τοῦ ἁμαρτάνειν, καὶ ἐποίησαν ἑαυτοῖς χώνευμα ἐκ τοῦ ἀργυρίου αὐτῶν, κατʼ εἰκόνα εἰδώλων, ἔργα τεκτόνων συντετελεσμένα αὐτοῖς· αὐτοὶ λέγουσι, θύσατε ἀνθρώπους, μόσχοι γὰρ ἐκλελοίπασι.

And now they added to their sin, and they made for themselves a molten image out of their silver, according to the image of idols, works of craftsmen completed for them. They themselves say, Sacrifice men, for calves have failed.
