Καὶ εἶπαν οἱ προσβύτεροι Γαλαὰδ πρὸς Ἰεφθάε, διὰ τοῦτο νῦν ἐπεστρέψαμεν πρὸς σὲ, καὶ πορεύσῃ μεθʼ ἡμῶν, καὶ παρατάξῃ πρὸς υἱοὺς Ἀμμὼν, καὶ ἔσῃ ἡμῖν εἰς ἄρχοντα πᾶσι τοῖς κατοικοῦσι Γαλαάδ.

And the elders of Gilead said to Jephthah, Because of this we have now returned to you, and you shall go with us, and you shall fight against the sons of Ammon, and you will be to us a ruler over all those dwelling in Gilead.
