Καὶ εὗρον ἀπὸ οἰκούντων Ἰαβεῖς Γαλαὰδ, τετρακοσίας νεάνιδας παρθένους, αἵτινες οὐκ ἔγνωσαν ἄνδρα εἰς κοίτην ἄρσενος, καὶ ἤνεγκαν αὐτὰς εἰς τὴν παρεμβολὴν εἰς Σηλὼμ τὴν ἐν γῇ Χαναάν.

And they found from the inhabitants of Jabesh Gilead four hundred young women who were virgins, who had not known a man by lying with a male, and they brought them into the camp at Shiloh, which is in the land of Canaan.
