Καὶ εἶπε Γεδεὼν, ἀδελφοί μου καὶ υἱοὶ τῆς μητρός μου ἦσαν· ζῇ Κύριος· εἰ ἐζωογονήκειτε αὐτοὺς, οὐκ ἂν ἀπέκτεινα ὑμᾶς.

And Gideon said, They were my brothers and sons of my mother. As the Lord lives, if you had kept them alive, I would not have killed you.
