Καὶ συνεστάλη Μαδιὰμ ἐνώπιον υἱῶν Ἰσραὴλ, καὶ οὐ προσέθηκαν ἆραι κεφαλὴν αὐτῶν· καὶ ἡσύχασεν ἡ γῆ τεσσαράκοντα ἔτη ἐν ἡμέραις Γεδεών.
