Καὶ Ἀβιμέλεχ παρετάσσετο ἐν τῇ πόλει ὅλην τὴν ἡμέραν ἐκείνην, καὶ κατελάβετο τὴν πόλιν, καὶ τὸν λαὸν τὸν ἐν αὐτῇ ἀπέκτεινε, καὶ τὴν πόλιν καθεῖλε, καὶ ἔσπειρεν αὐτὴν ἅλας.
