Καὶ ἐγένετο Ἱερεμίου παυσαμένου λαλοῦντος πάντα ἃ συνέταξε Κύριος αὐτῷ λαλῆσαι παντὶ τῷ λαῷ, καὶ συνελάβοσαν αὐτὸν οἱ ἱερεῖς, καὶ οἱ ψευδοπροφῆται, καὶ πᾶς ὁ λαὸς, λέγων, θανάτῳ ἀποθανῇ,
