Καὶ ἀπέστειλαν πάντες οἱ ἄρχοντες πρὸς Βαροὺχ υἱὸν Νηρίου, τὸν Ἰουδὶν υἱὸν Ναθανίου, υἱοῦ Σελεμίου, υἱοῦ Χουσὶ, λέγοντες, τὸ χαρτίον ἐν ᾧ σὺ ἀναγινώσκεις ἐν αὐτῷ ἐν ὠσὶ τοῦ λαοῦ, λάβε αὐτὸ εἰς τὴν χεῖρά σου, καὶ ἧκε· καὶ ἔλαβε Βαροὺχ τὸ χαρτίον, καὶ κατέβη πρὸς αὐτούς.

And all the rulers sent Jehudi son of Nethaniah, son of Shelemiah, son of Hushai, to Baruch son of Neriah, saying, Take in your hand the scroll from which you are reading in the ears of the people, and come. So Baruch took the scroll and went down to them.
