Καὶ ἤκουσεν Ἀβδεμέλεχ ὁ Αἰθίοψ, καὶ αὐτὸς ἐν οἰκίᾳ τοῦ βασιλέως, ὅτι ἔδωκαν Ἱερεμίαν εἰς τὸν λάκκον· καὶ ὁ βασιλεὺς ἦν ἐν τῇ πύλῃ Βενιαμὶν,
