Καὶ εἶπεν Ἰωάναν τῷ Γοδολίᾳ κρυφαίως ἐν Μασσηφᾷ, πορεύσομαι δὴ καὶ πατάξω τὸν Ἰσμαὴλ, καὶ μηδεὶς γνώτω, μὴ πατάξῃ σου ψυχὴν, καὶ διασπαρῇ πᾶς Ἰούδα οἱ συνηγμένοι πρὸς σὲ, καὶ ἀπολοῦνται οἱ κατάλοιποι Ἰούδα.
