Καὶ ἤκουσαν πάντες οἱ ἡγεμόνες τῆς δυνάμεως τῆς ἐν ἀγρῷ, αὐτοὶ καὶ οἱ ἄνδρες αὐτῶν, ὅτι κατέστησε βασιλεὺς Βαβυλῶνος τὸν Γοδολίαν ἐν τῇ γῇ, καὶ παρακατέθεντο αὐτῷ ἄνδρας καὶ γυναῖκας αὐτῶν, οὓς οὐ κατῴκισεν εἰς Βαβυλῶνα.

And all the leaders of the force in the field heard, they and their men, that the king of Babylon appointed Gedaliah in the land, and they committed to him their men and women whom he had not settled into Babylon.
