Διατοῦτο ἔπαισεν αὐτοὺς λέων ἐκ τοῦ δρυμοῦ, καὶ λύκος ἕως τῶν οἰκιῶν ὠλόθρευσεν αὐτοὺς, καὶ πάρδαλις ἐγρηγόρησεν ἐπὶ τὰς πόλεις αὐτῶν· πάντες οἱ ἐκπορευόμενοι ἀπʼ αὐτῶν θηρευθήσονται, ὅτι ἐπλήθυναν ἀσεβείας αὐτῶν, ἴσχυσαν ἐν ταῖς ἀποστροφαῖς αὐτῶν.

Therefore a lion from the forest struck them, and a wolf destroyed them as far as their houses, and a leopard watched over their cities; all who go out from them shall be hunted, because they multiplied their impiety and grew strong in their apostasies.
