Καὶ ἐγένετο τῷ ἔτει τῷ ἐννάτῳ τῆς βασιλείας αὐτοῦ, ἐν μηνὶ τῷ ἐννάτῳ, δεκάτῃ τοῦ μηνὸς, ἦλθε Ναβουχοδονόσορ βασιλεὺς Βαβυλῶνος, καὶ πᾶσα ἡ δύναμις αὐτοῦ ἐπὶ Ἱερουσαλὴμ, καὶ περιεχαράκωσαν αὐτὴν, καὶ περιῳκοδόμησαν αὐτὴν τετραπέδοις λίθοις κύκλῳ.
