Καὶ ἐλιθοβόλησαν αὐτὸν λίθοις πᾶς Ἰσραὴλ, καὶ ἐπέστησαν αὐτῷ σωρὸν λίθων μέγαν· καὶ ἐπαύσατο Κύριος τοῦ θυμοῦ τῆς ὀργῆς. Διὰ τοῦτο ἐπωνόμασεν αὐτὸ Ἐμεκαχὼρ ἕως τῆς ἡμέρας ταύτης.
