καὶ εἶπεν αὐτοῖς ὁ Ἰησοῦς· μὴ δύνανται οἱ υἱοὶ τοῦ νυμφῶνος, ἐν ᾧ ὁ νυμφίος μετ᾽ αὐτῶν ἐστι, νηστεύειν; ὅσον χρόνον μεθ᾽ ἑαυτῶν ἔχουσι τὸν νυμφίον, οὐ δύνανται νηστεύειν.

And Jesus said to them, The sons of the bridal chamber are not able to fast while the bridegroom is with them. As long as they have the bridegroom with themselves, they are not able to fast.
