Καὶ οὐκ ἠθέλησεν Ἐδὼμ δοῦναι τῷ Ἰσραὴλ παρελθεῖν διὰ τῶν ὁρίων αὐτοῦ· καὶ ἐξέκλινεν Ἰσραὴλ ἀπ αὐτοῦ.

And Edom was not willing to give Israel permission to pass through his borders, and Israel turned aside from him.
