Καὶ εἶπε πρὸς αὐτοὺς Μωυσῆς, ἐὰν διαβῶσιν οἱ υἱοὶ Ῥουβὴν καὶ οἱ υἱοὶ Γὰδ μεθ ὑμῶν τὸν Ἰορδάνην, πᾶς ἐνωπλισμένος εἰς πόλεμον ἔναντι Κυρίου, καὶ κατακυριεύσητε τῆς γῆς ἀπέναντι ὑμῶν, καὶ δώσετε αὐτοῖς τὴν γῆν Γαλαὰδ ἐν κατασχέσει.

And Moses said to them, if the sons of Reuben and the sons of Gad cross over the Jordan with you, all armed for war before the Lord, and you subdue the land before you, then you shall give to them the land of Gilead as a possession.
