Διὰ φωνῆς Κυρίου ἐπεσκέψατο αὐτοὺς ἐν χειρὶ Μωυσῆ, ἄνδρα κατὰ ἄνδρα ἐπὶ τῶν ἔργων αὐτῶν, καὶ ἐπὶ ὧν αἴρουσιν αὐτοί· καὶ ἐπεσκέπησαν, ὃν τρόπον συνέταξε Κύριος τῷ Μωυσῇ.

Through the voice of the Lord he visited them by the hand of Moses, man by man according to their works and according to what they themselves carry, and they were numbered in the manner which the Lord commanded Moses.
