ὡς δὲ ἤγγισεν Ἰούδας ἐπὶ τὸν χειμάρρουν τοῦ ὕδατος, ἔστησεν τοὺς γραμματεῖς τοῦ λαοῦ ἐπὶ τοῦ χειμάρρου, καὶ ἐνετείλατο αὐτοῖς, λέγων Μὴ ἀφῆτε ἄνθρωπον παρεμβαλεῖν, ἀλλὰ ἐρχέσθωσαν πάντες εἰς τὸν πόλεμον.

As Judah drew near to the torrent of water, he set up the scribes of the people at the torrent, and commanded them, saying, Do not allow any man to encamp, but let all come to the war.
