καὶ ἦλθον ἕως Ἐφρών, καὶ αὕτη ἡ πόλις μεγάλη ἡ τῆς εἰσόδου, ἰσχυρὰ σφόδρα· οὐκ ἦν ἐκκλῖναι ἀπʼ αὐτῆς δεξιὰν ἢ ἀριστεράν, ἀλλ᾿ ἢ διὰ μέσου αὐτῆς πορεύεσθαι.

And they came to Ephron, and this was a great city at the entrance, exceedingly strong; it was not possible to turn aside from it to the right or left, but only to go through the middle of it.
