Καὶ εἶπε Σαμουήλ, εἰ θελητὸν τῷ Κυρίῳ ὁλοκαυτώματα καὶ θυσίας, ὡς τὸ ἀκοῦσαι φωνῆς Κυρίου; ἰδοὺ ἀκοὴ ὑπὲρ θυσίαν ἀγαθὴν, καὶ ἡ ἐπακρόασις ὑπὲρ στέαρ κριῶν.

And Samuel said, Are burnt offerings and sacrifices as desired to the Lord as hearing the voice of the Lord? Behold, hearing is better than good sacrifice, and obedience is better than the fat of rams.
