Καὶ εἶπεν αὐτῷ Ἀβεννὴρ, ἔκκλινον σὺ εἰς τὰ δεξιὰ ἢ εἰς τὰ ἀριστερὰ, καὶ κατάσχε σεαυτῷ ἓν τῶν παιδαρίων, καὶ λάβε σεαυτῷ τὴν πανοπλίαν αὐτοῦ· καὶ οὐκ ἠθέλησεν Ἀσαὴλ ἐκκλῖναι ἐκ τῶν ὄπισθεν αὐτοῦ.
