Καὶ ἤνεγκαν τὴν κεφαλὴν Ἰεβοσθὲ τῷ Δαυὶδ εἰς Χεβρὼν, καὶ εἶπον πρὸς τὸν βασιλέα, ἰδοὺ ἡ κεφαλὴ Ἰεβοσθὲ υἱοῦ Σαοὺλ τοῦ ἐχθροῦ σου, ὃς ἐζήτει τὴν ψυχήν σου, καὶ ἔδωκε Κύριος τῷ κυρίῳ βασιλεῖ ἐκδίκησιν τῶν ἐχθρῶν αὐτοῦ, ὡς ἡ ἡμέρα αὕτη, ἐκ Σαοὺλ τοῦ ἐχθροῦ σου καὶ ἐκ τοῦ σπέρματος αὐτοῦ.

And they brought the head of Ishbosheth to David into Hebron, and said to the king, Behold the head of Ishbosheth son of Saul your enemy, who sought your soul, and the Lord gave to the lord king vengeance of his enemies, as this day, from Saul your enemy and from his seed.
