Καὶ ἠρώτησε Δαυὶδ διὰ Κυρίου, λέγων, εἰ ἀναβῶ πρὸς τοὺς ἀλλοφύλους, καὶ παραδώσεις αὐτοὺς εἰς τὰς χεῖράς μου; καὶ εἶπε Κύριος πρὸς Δαυὶδ, ἀνάβαινε, ὅτι παραδιδοὺς παραδώσω τοὺς ἀλλοφύλους εἰς τὰς χεῖράς σου.

And David asked the Lord, saying, Should I go up against the foreigners, and will you hand them over into my hands? And the Lord said to David, Go up, because I will surely deliver the foreigners into your hands.
