καὶ παρήγγειλε νηστείαν καὶ δέησιν καὶ τιμαωρίαν ζητῆσαι παρὰ τοῦ κυρίου τοῦ ὑψίστου περὶ τοῦ μυστηρίου τούτου, ὅπως μὴ ἐκδοθῶσι Δανιὴλ καὶ οἱ μετʼ αὐτοῦ εἰς ἀπώλειαν ἄμα τοῖς σοφισταῖς Βαβυλῶνος.

And he commanded them to seek a fast and supplication and retribution from the Lord of the Most High concerning this mystery, so that Daniel and those with him might not be handed over into destruction together with the wise men of Babylon.
